WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SERUM AND MOISTURIZER?

Serum is a skincare product that you can apply to your skin after your cleanser and before moisturizer. The molecules of serum are smaller which allow it to penetrate the inner layer of your skin. It is a light weight but intense concentrate filled with powerful active ingredients to target specific skin concerns. These concerns may be signs of aging, dry skin, and/or dark spots. Meanwhile, the moisturizer helps your skin to retain moisture as it will form a hydrating barrier on the outer layer of your skin. To make it short, always seal your serum with a good moisturizer. It’s like icing on a cake.

Can I use Serum alone?

No. Even though serums are for hydrating the skin, their main goal is to deliver active ingredients deeper within the skin, and they don’t provide a protective shield between your skin and the environment like moisturizers do.

How often should I use my serum?

Hmm.. this all depends on the serum. Read the label, but mostly twice a day.
